Quick Post: Fifty Shades of Grey....

This is just a quick post as I am not done reading it, but I had to point out something. I will do a more thorough evaluation later once I have finished reading it.

The thing that I noticed though is that this book and Twilight are similar. Lets just say this is the more realistic and adult rated Twilight. First off he becomes attracted to a girl that is easily flustered that he can't figure out what it is about her but he has to have her. Second off he clearly has had a hard childhood and therefore has a somewhat dark secret to hide also Edward is a vampire so he kind of has a dark secret to hide too. In Breaking Dawn Edward forces Bella to accept a car. Im not to the point where Ana accepts it or not but Christen is trying to force a car on her. Both men are overbearing and overprotective in the male acquaintance department. They are also pushy about food. (I mean really if you drop bombs i.e. Im a vampire or Im into kinky sex how can you expect the women to eat. shesh) Both men have similar music tastes and are extremely wealthy. This is just what I have come up with so far and I just started reading an hour ago. Im sure that I will find more similarities and also I want to do a full review of this book and the whole series, so keep a look out for those post if your interested.

Has anyone noticed how similar Jesse Bradford and Colin Farrell look so similar?!

Another thing Im on a movie rant. Just finished Cake Eaters and Hackers, anyone have anythingelse that they think I should watch? Im going throught the free movies on On Demand but I could be persuaded to go to rent a movie if I think its good enough. You think you have a good one for me? Leave a comment and I'll look it up.

My Thoughts On: Kristen Stewart

So first maybe I should go over the cheating thing since its the first thing on everyones mind. I don't really care that she cheated. Yeah it was horrible of her but thats in her own personal life, none of my busniess. Its not going ot effect my watching her movies. No one should really have the right to judge her, since its her life and not ours. So thats my thought on the cheating scandel onto my real point: her movies.

My friends all say they don't like her and she cant act thanks to the twilight movie. My response is that Bella was a very hard character to protray since she was kind of bland to fit every teenage girl. Every other role that she has played she has done great. From Cake Eaters to Speak she has played really diffucult roles and acceled at them. So when I hear people say she can't act I always have to point out she can act better than they probably can.

So thats just a rambling going on my head right now because I'm watching one of her movies.

My Other Blog...Makeup/CLeaning your face....

Heres another I thought I would share.

I decided to write this because I have been watching way to many tutorial's on youtube ab0ut what products to buy and how to apply makeup and I thought why not blog about it since I have no idea how to make video's with my camera yet. So hope that this is useful to you, or at least entertaining.

I like to wash my face when I get up in the mornings with three different products while Im in the shower. The first is St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and if you do end up using the I suggest just using it once or twice a week since your dead skin doesn't come back that quickly. I gently rub this around the areas that are really starting to peal and it takes off all the dead skin. This may be a harsh product for some people since I find that it is slightly rough on the face. If you find it to be the same way you should look for a product that doesn't leave your face feeling like it has been man handled. You can play around with different products to see which one works best for you, but make sure that your not allergic to the ingredients in the product before you try it. You don't want to wake up with red splotches all over your face do you?
The next thing that I use is Clean&Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub. Now if you use this it has the beads in it to exfoliate your skin so you don't have to use an exfoliate before it, but you can if you are like me and you really really want that dead skin gone. This product ends up making my face feel fresh and clean and has a cold tingly feeling once your done using it. As I stated before make sure your not allergic before using.
The last thing that I use is Oily Skin Foaming Facial Wash from CO Bigelow, which you should be able to find still at Bath and Body Works if not then I think that it is out of stock but you can find a different version of it at their Website. I use this because I get really oily skin when Im out running around all day, so I need something that will keep it away longer and this helps a lot.
Sometimes I may switch out the above product with LUXIVA Foaming Cleanser Normal/Oily. You should be able to pick this up at you locale Merle Norman, and they have different types for if you have dry skin to normal skin.

Things like natural remedies, taking Vitamins and exercising seem to be all the rage in today’s society with being skinny being the new fad. The skinner and healthier you are the more liked and more looked upon with praise you are. But doing things like taking Vitamins and natural remedies are sometimes questioned. Do they really make us more healthy or are we just fooling ourselves?
Its not just taking Vitamins that we should be doing, though they help too. We should also be focusing on what we put into our bodies food and drink wise. It has been shown that certain foods have enough vitamins and nutrients to help fight off different types of diseases. Some examples of foods to eat are: Mushrooms which have Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, selenium, and cancer preventing properties; Goji berries which contain Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E, Beta carotene, zeaxanthin, and can help eyesight and help prevent age-related macular degeneration; and Flaxseed and soybeans which help fight breast cancer. These are only a few of the many foods out there that can help fight different disease and give you the essential vitamins and minerals that you need on a daily basis. One of the main drinks that people can switch to drinking to help them out is tea. There are four different types of tea in the world: Red, Black, White, and Green. The two types of tea that help the most and that doctors recommend drinking every day are white and green to help fight cancer and heart attacks. It is so easy to live healthier just by switching your diet around a little, but even if you don’t do that there are still different types of vitamins that you can take to help you live healthier.
It is a known fact that there are a lot of types of vitamins in the world today and not everyone is going to take every single one of them, but there are a few important ones that you should pay close attention too. When your younger you need lots of Vitamins A, C, and Calcium to help with Vision, cell development, immune function, making collagen, fighting free radicals, and bone growth. Quick Teen Wolf Post....

Just a quick Teen Wolf post before bed. Just finished the episode before the season finale and my thoughts are this:

All the Argents except papa argent should die. I kinda liked Allison first season, but now she has major suckage going on. Dont even get me started on Gerard.

Need more Lydia parts.

What happened to Stiles? If he dies Im boycotting.

Need more Sterek. Yes they probably wont be a real couple but I do like the awkward moments like last episode. At least Matt gets one point for that.

Are Erika and Boyd together? Lots of hand holding.

Is Issac going to end up following Scott?

Don't even want to know what Peters game is, but if he can somehow end up looking like when he was younger I will be happy. Don't get me wrong, I think hes a handsome man now, but I liked Lydia and him before.

I think Jackson may have a heart. If only he would leave Lydia out of it. Yes they are cute, but two dysfunctional people do not make a great couple.

Is Jackson related to Derek?

Does Derek hate Scott?

Will Allison try to kill Scott?

Will Gerard kill Allison?

Teen Wolf Makeup...Lydia...

So since I still can't figure out how to upload videos to YouTube from my phone(the only camera I have atm) I decided to do a written makeup tutorial. It sounds kind of weird but I wanted to give it a try. Let me know if you love it or hate it.


Ok first, of course, you start out with a clean face. Apply your moisturizer to make sure makeup goes on evenly and to keep you face looking fresh all day. Depending on your skin type you want to find a face primer that suits you. I have found that if you have dry skin the Victoria's Secret makeup primer is good and if you have oily skin you might want to use a Lancome or something that has something in it to suck up the oil throughout the day. Don't forget to put on eyeshadow primer. This keeps you eyes vibrant and fresh all day, and makes the eye shadow stand out with more pigmented color. After you do all of that, put on a foundation and powder that is light. She looks pretty pale in this series so keep it light.

First Im going to start off by doing the eyes. That way if there is any fall out from the shadow you can wipe it off and then put your foundation on for even face coverage. So to start with your going to take a brown with a slightly redish pigment to it, and put it along your crease. This is going to accentuate the depth of the eye. Then take a white shadow with a slight shimmer (not to much or it could over power the look) and put that across the lid. I like to do this step after the crease shadow is on so if i get the crease on the lid I can just wipe it off and cover it. Next your going to take a brown or black eyeliner(both colors would look good with this) and line the top of your eyelid. Don't do your water line. If you want something on your water line use white, because Holland Roden has wide looking eyes. Then put on your mascara, false eyelashes are optional but if you do put them on keep them thin. The point of Lydia's look isn't her eyes, its her lips. So you want to keep the eyes a little understated so the lips pop.


Next were going to move on to the cheeks. This one is really an easy step. There are two ways you can wear the blush. One is on the apples( the round part under your eyes) or you can define your cheeks with it, which is what I usually do. How you do this is by sucking in you cheeks and making a fish face. Take the blush and run it along the line that you see there. Don't get to much as again this look is about the lips and all your doing is making your cheek bones noticeable. The color that you want to use for this is a light pink. If your skin tone is really white you should use a baby pink color, if you have darker or tan skin use a blush with a coral color to it.
While were on the cheeks go ahead and take a highlight color to the top of the apples of your cheeks. What this means is shimmery white or pink color to blend in so that the tops of your cheeks look pretty and shimmery. You can also put this on the tip of your nose and your cupids bow (the part of your upper lip that goes into a v).


On to the last part, the lips. Lydia's look is always about the lips. Big red lips are her theme. So what you want to do is find a color that suits you. Again its like with the blushes, if your tan or darker look for a coral color or a color with a slight orange tint to it. If your pretty fair look for a vibrant red or a red with a pink hue to it. If your not sure which color to use try them out on the back of your hand. I would chose between three and which ever looks the best on the back of your hand you should go with. Lip liner is optional. If you want to use it try to get as close to the lipstick color as possible. You don't want it to stand out to much. And if you want a trick to make your lips look fuller you can use the lip liner to shade in the corners of your mouth, leaving a small circle in the middle with no liner. What this does is create depth when you put on the lipstick. The part that has lip liner and lipstick should be slightly darker than the part with just lipstick, making your lips look fuller. Another trick is to take a white powder to that middle area and then blend. This also makes the lips fuller. Gloss is also optional, but if your going to use it use a clear color so it doesn't take away from the color of the lipstick.



So that is my tutorial for Lydia's makeup. If I ever get a camera or figure out how to upload videos from my phone I will put this up as my first tutorial. Hope you guys liked it an let me know what you think and if you want me to do someone else.

Teen Wolf: Lydia's Closet...

This time I have linked to the pages to buy these items since I'm only using one store.

So this time I'm doing Lydias closet. She I think is the girliest one on the show, with a lot of floral patterns and skirts. I think in almost every single episode she either has on a skirt or a dress, very rarely pants.

I have found the Macys style guide online and it is pretty good if your wanting a mix of Allisons style and Lydias but I think the real place to shop for Lydias style would be Charlotte Russe. It has a lot of the floral prints that Lydia wears and the body style of most of her out fits. What I mean by body style is that she has two different types: the skirt that is slightly puffy and ruffled or the pencil skirt type. Meaning ruffles are good but so are dresses that fit your body shape. Lydia looks like she has some curves so the pencil shape skirt really show this off.

Kanima.....Teen Wolf and more....

So I have been looking up Mythology on what the Kanima could be. My dad thought he had heard something about it in Greek mythology but I still haven't turned up anything with that name. Of course I have only been searching the last couple of days...

Anyway things that I have found that sound similar or have properties like Jackson:

Amphisbaena: A snake like worm just recently discovered. Thought to have originated in Greece.

Tales of these ancient creatures come to us originally from Greek Mythology, where it is said that the Amphisbaena was spawned from the blood that dripped from the severed head of the GORGON known as MEDUSA as the Legendary Perseus flew over the Libyan Desert with his prize. It has also been chronicled that Cato’s army encountered the poison rife serpents on their renowned march.

Basilisk:
In European bestiaries and legends, a is a legendary reptile reputed to be king of serpents and said to have the power to cause death with a single glance. According to the Naturalis Historia of Pliny the Elder, the basilisk of Cyrene is a small snake, "being not more than twelve fingers in length," that is so venomous that it leaves a wide trail of deadly venom in its wake, and its gaze is likewise lethal; its weakness is in the odor of the weasel, which, according to Pliny, was thrown into the basilisk's hole, recognizable because all the surrounding shrubs and grass had been scorched by its presence. It is possible that the legend of the basilisk and its association with the weasel in Europe was inspired by accounts of certain species of Asiatic snakes (such as the King Cobra) and their natural predator, the mongoose. -WIKI

Also if you watch Harry Potter or read the books it is said that the Basilisk is a big snake that can kill you if you look into its eyes. Its venom is one of the most poisonous substances in the wizarding world. You can look at it through a mirror though like Harry does.

I have also heard the basilisk called a Medusa weapon, which leads me to believe that maybe it came from Medusa's head.



Cockatrice:
Its reputed magical abilities include turning people to stone or killing them by either looking at them—"the death-darting eye of Cockatrice"—touching them, or sometimes breathing on them. It was repeated in the late-medieval bestiaries that the weasel is the only animal that is immune to the glance of a cockatrice. It was also thought that a cockatrice would die instantly upon hearing a rooster crow, according to legend, having a cockatrice look itself in a mirror is one of the few sure-fire ways to kill it. The cockatrice was also able to fly with the set of wings affixed to its back. Like the head of Medusa, the cockatrice's powers of petrification were thought still active after death. -WIKI

The only thing i can think of with this one that sounds similar is Jackson not liking his reflection in the mirror.



Kanima: In South America it is thought to be a jaguar-shaped spirit that seeks and kills murderers. Also known as Runa-uturungu. In Argentina and Bolivia they are usually werejaguars, known as runa-uturungu, uturunco, yaguareté-abá, kanima and other names depending on the region. In some tribes, all shamans were thought to have the ability to become jaguars. Female werejaguars have an extra pair of nipples that betray their true nature. In the , the legends of weres in Argentina became so widespread that children were being abandoned or killed to protect them from the curse.

There are also urban legends about jaguar shapeshifters lurking along highways in tales similar to the vanishing hitchhiker and of them being assassins secretly employed by the government or organized crime.

So this is all I could come up with so far, but pretty good for only a few days search so far. I will continue to look for more and if you guys have any ideas please let me know. I really want to figure out where the director came up with this and if it is indeed a myth or thousands put together.

Book Time Again...

I have noticed that I read mostly books with strong female main characters and hopefully in the next one of these you'll see so male lead characters. Don't think I can do anything about the reading material being about murder, and how most of the characters have gun fetishes. I think that says something about my personality. "Guilty Pleasures" is the name of a vampire strip club operated by vampire Jean-Claude, one of the main characters. Hamilton has continued the pattern of titling the novels after a location for most of the books in the series.

Also in case you haven't noticed I have a thing for romance novels. My bad. Anyway so at least I did get one book in from a male perspective, though I doubt most men would read it. Next time hopefully I will have broadened my horizons and read some more books that everyone will enjoy.

Teen Wolf: Allisons Closet...

So I did say that I would be doing a character closet post and who better to start with than Allison. Her style is the modern day high school girl/kick ass hunter wardrobe. I'll post some pictures of what I think she would wear and say somethings about what I've noticed about her style so far.

First off I always notice shes wearing a jacket. Almost all the time, no matter what other clothing she wears, she has on either a military jacket or some type of leather jacket. This is a big theme with her in most episodes. Sometimes she wears scarfs but its not as big a theme as the jackets. She does wear jeans but they look like they are really fitted to her body, no loose hanging on her. If she wears skirts it seems like the same thing like they are either fitted or ruffly with patterns. Normally I notice that she likes the floral patterns which I think she picks up from Lydia. Lydia I think has been a big influence on how she dresses because without Lydia around I think Allison would mostly wear jeans, but that's just my opinion. Also I see her as more of the strappy sandal kind of girl rather than heel wearing.

Anyway on to the pictures. I'm going to put together two outfits and you can let me know what you think.

Teen Wolf Season 2...Spoliers....

Its already halfway through the second season of Teen Wolf and if you've missed the episodes so far don't worry I'll update you right now.

So far in Teen Wolf we have discovered that there is a new threat called a Kanima. It is a shape-shifter that turns into a snake. In Mythology though it is a Jaguar shaped spirit that kills murderers. My father thought that in Greek mythology he had heard about a Kanima that was a snake that changed shape like a cameleon, but I have yet to read that anywhere.

In the show we see that Allison and Scott are still together even though Allison's parents forbid it. We also learn that Allison's grandpa is in town and is declaring war against werewolves. He later finds out what Scott is but doesn't kill him saying that Scott will do something later for him or he will kill Scott's mother.

Lydia is found out to probably be immune to the werewolf bite, but is hallucinating from it. Stiles is still true to Lydia and tries to protect her from Derek when he tries to kill her thinking that she is the Kanima. It is later found out that Jackson is the Kanima. He turns into it after he had kissed Lydia and the werewolves showed up to kill them.

Derek has recruited three new wolves; Erika, Issac, and Boyd. Erika try's to get intimate with Derek who stops her saying he has someone else in mind, which we all assume means Scott. Later Issac try's to help kill Lydia saying that he wouldn't mind killing her because she wouldn't go out with him freshman year and was rude. I think this shows that Issac holds a grudge against Lydia.

The latest episode, frenimies, shows that Jackson is indeed the Kanima and Scott and Stiles are trying to protect him, much to Stiles duress. Jackson of course being Jackson doesn't care, escapes and gets his father the lawyer in on it.

Bands I'm listening to right now....

Thought that I should just go ahead and name some bands on my Ipod so you guys can check them out and see if you like them. Im only going to list 10 bands with the number one song I like and give a little info about them.

1.) Skrillex: Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites-Sonny Moore who used to be in the band From First to Last created Skrillex and it is now his main project. I think its kinda fun to dance to.

2.) She Wants Revenge: Tear You Apart-Formed in 2003 by Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin. Biggest inspiration is Joy Division.

3.) The Donna's: Who Invited You- Started out in the 90's as a garage band and had a cult following to begin with. Now they are more know. This is my kick ass girl music.

4.) Nine Inch Nails: Only-The only offical member of NIN is Trent Reznor. He also collaborated with a few other for the American version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo's sountrack.

5.) The Naked And Famous: Frayed- A New Zealand indie electronic ensemble with an '80s post-punk influence. The vocalist is Alisa Xayalith. Her voice is so pretty.

6.) The Cure: Close To Me-The guitarist/vocalist is Robert Smith. Band started around the 70's. Was a goth band before goth was cool, but by the time goth was the thing to be The Cure had moved on from that genre.

7.) Placebo: Post Blue- David Bowie is a big influnce on this band. They have an androgynous look about them.

8.) Muse: Time Is Running Out-Released their first record in 1998. Band mates are from Europe.

9.) Bowling For Soup: Girl All The Bad Guys Want- Formed in 1994 in Texas.

10.)Barenaked Ladies: Postcards- Their music is humor set to pop music. Started in the 80's but the 1998 hit 'One Week' is what really made them famous.




So check out the bands and songs I mentioned if you want. I think they are all pretty good and all different so you should be able to find at least one song you like. I'll do another post like this some other time since this doesn't even come close to covering all of my musical taste.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo...American and Swedish...

First off I would like to start with I really enjoyed these movies and books. Though they bring light to the topic of misogynistic men I think that it also sensationalizes it with the movies. Rape isn't romantic and it isn't pretty anyway you show it, and the videos did a really good job of portraying how brutal that is.

The original Swedish novel's title translated to 'Men who hate Women'. When it was being reprinted in english they decided to change the title to the less offensive, 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. Personally I wouldn't have minded if they had kept the other title. It suited the purpose of the writer and got straight to the point.

It is said that in his past, Steig Larsson witnessed a rape of a girl named Lisbeth and did nothing to stop it. So this book was probably dedicated to the girl he could never forget. Most of his life was dedicated to stopping injustices whether they be rape, immigration issues, or racism. I do believe he was a great man.

The Swedish version of the movie gives more light to Lisbeth obsession with Blomkvist, her past, her pattern of thinking, and her relationships with others. The American version goes more into detail about her sexual relationship with Blomkvist, her attitude to others, and most importantly her way of dress. I think that they put a little too much emphasis on clothing in the American version, especially since they came out with an H&M clothing line for her. The only other problem that I had with the American version was that it didn't show much of her past like it did in the first one or the book and it kind of let the fact that she has a photographic memory slide by. Not to say that I didnt like the American version. All in all I think that it was really well put together and that I shouldnt have been so scared to watch it. If you havent seen either or read the books, you should. Not if you have a weak stomach or are a candy ass. It would probably give you nightmares.

The only reason the books scored so low is because they take a long time to read through. Not saying that there is a lot of pages, but its difficult to stay interested when there is so much description of useless things and not enough action. I still think that they warrant a read through though.

Here are just a few games that I think you should check out...and some not so much.


1. World of Warcraft

Its gotten a bad rep lately and I dont understand why. Its a pretty good game other than you doing quests over and over again. It also has raids, rp, dungeouns, and even capture the flag so there is plenty to do. The good part is that playing to lvl 20 is free. The bad part is that you lvl up to 20 pretty fast. Most places have a Wow card for $40 but luckly I have found that wal-mart has it for $30. Know anywhere that has it cheaper, let me know.

2: Resident Evil

I didnt list which Resident Evil because lets face it I love all of them in their zombie killing glory. The only problem is the latest one out for ps3 has gotten some pretty bad reviews, but that wont stop me from buying it and trying it. At least that way I can say I own them all. 'gotta catch them all'
Anyway, all resident evil games are good to check out.

3. The walking dead

Im scared of this because in the tv show the zombies move kinda slow so Im wondering if there is going to be a lot of action in this. My guess is that its more rping than fighting zombies, which is fun on its own but I dont think its good for this game. Havent checked it out yet, but when I do I will probably write a stand alone post on what I thought.

Been checking out a few diffrent facebook pages, youtube channels, and tumblr blogs and found a few interesting characters. On of them is a lovely lady named Angelica, aka Murderotic. Here are her pages:

Check her out, I think shes a really awesome chick. I would say that now shes strictly goth, but before she had that scene hair thing going on. I love her look both ways. Her outfits are mostly black, last time I checked she was 21 but she did just have a birthday.


I think that my favorite things about this girl are first her clothes, come on who doesnt love her outfits? Next her makeup, she has a wonderful smokey eye and I love the way she shapes her eyebrows. She cares about animals and what she puts into her body and wants use to be aware of whats in products. Shes Swedish so of course I love her accent. I have a thing for accents. Her cats are amazing. Im going to steal the fluffy one. And most of all how sweet she is. Even if someones clearly being a jerk to her she still goes out of her way to be nice to them. What a sweet heart.


Anyway if you havent heard of her I suggest you at least check her out. Not saying you have to love her like I do, but you can at least give her the time of day.

So everyone lately has been doing contests on tumblr, youtube and blogs so I thought why not join that movement. Normally its a certain follower number that gets the prize so lets do it that way. The 10th follower on my blog will get the following things:

Haters.... and Sugarpill....

I am feeling really left out and unloved lately. It seems like every other blog I read has a hater that stalks every post, but little old me? I get no one. Sure I haven't written that many posts but does that mean I cant share in the love too?

Anyway that was all I wanted to say on that. On another note, I've started using a new makeup brand which shows up really well. I used lancome before but my eyes for some reason sweat off all the eye shadow I put on. This new brand though stays on all day but is easy to remove with eye makeup remove or even just regular makeup remover. Sugarpill is something you should check out. The owner got the idea for this from costume makeup, but this is supposed to be a little healthier for us. Half of the makeup on the site is vegan, meaning no harmful chemical or animal ingredients. If it has a V on the page it is vegan, but you can read more about that on the sites FAQ page. The reason this brand was created was because the owner also owns Shrinkle, a clothing brand and wanted makeup to make the outfit pop. I am really glad she did since I love it so much. This makeup has be around for about 7 years so its still relatively new on the makeup scene. On May 18 they are coming out with a new collection called Heart Breaker, so I would get in on that while supplies last. Rumor has it that they will be releasing individuals of the collection sometime this week, so keep your eyes open. If you want to know more about this product you can check out the Blog, Facebook, or Tumblr. I'll have more to say about these products later.

Beatsly Review.....

If you havent watched the movie the dont read this as it will go into detail about it and spoil it for you.


I really enjoyed this new, modern day spin to the tale of Beauty and the Beast. It followed the story line of a vain boy getting cursed by a witch to learn the true meaning of love and beauty, and finding a girl to love him for who he truely is.

The movie opens with a school campain for president of some green campain, but lets face it you werent paying attention to what they were running for. You were paying attention to how the boy, girl, and witch interact. You learn right away that the boy is arrogant and vain and really needs to be smacked. The girl had been watching him from affar even though he was an ass and the witch was totally going to curse his ass.
Then it moves to him trying to trick the witch and humiliate her, but ends with him getting cursed. But before that he becomes smitten with the girl of his dreams.
What follows is him wallowing for a whiole in self loathing before running into the girl again and realizing he loves her. He then begins in ernest trying to protect her and win her heart.
He writes her a letter in long hand about his feelings which she reads when, you guessed it, she has to go see her father who over dosed. He the hides away from her until he realizes that there is no way that she couldnt love him since she saw a beautiful man underneath. They then kiss, she tells him she loves him, and he turns back to the beautiful man he was and she realizes he was her classmate that she liked all along. Happy ending.

There were only a few parts that I didnt like but they were easily overlooked since the movie was fiction. The part where he follows her around like a stalker is telling people that its ok to be creepy and watch people when they don't know your there. I let that go though considering that he didnt want her to see what he really looked like. But the thing that I couldnt let go was that there was no dancing furnature! Yes the blind guy was a nice touch but who doesnt like seeing and dancing appliances?


Other than those few things I found wrong with the movie I overall loved it. It was one of those perfect romance story of boy finds out how to be a better person because of love of a girl. Ands girl feels really great for taming a bad boy. Who wouldnt like that? Well probably people that hate romances....but they suck so it doesn't matter.


This movie gets a 5 out of 5 on my must watch scale, so get it now.

Updates and penguins.....

Dont ask about the title because I have no idea. Anyway, my birthday is in less than a month and I am so excited. Were doing one of those crime scene ones where someone gets killed (not really but knowing Morganville...) and then everyone at the party has to figure out who did it. So much fun. Were placing clues all over town for the guests to find. Its gonna be awesome.

Next is my wish list for my party just in case anyone thats going reads this thing.
-A Nikon camera thats really really good at taking videos cause Im actually gonna start putting some on youtube. My name on there is bridemonslayer. No I don't have any up yet but hopefully I will soon.
-Books. Who wouldn't want books? and illiterate person thats who but luckly for me I can read.
-A ps3. I dont really expect this one since Im saving up for it on my own, but thought I would list it anyways just in case a daddy ware-bucks comes to my party. Did I even spell that right? O.o
-hot topic gift cards. I dont care what anyone says about that store with it being goth in a bag and too easy, I like it. I shop there so stick it. Not only do I buy the clothes and accessories I also buy the really awesome bumper stickers. The last one I got said release the kracken and had a cat on it. You know which one Im talking about because you secretly shop there too.
-Rue 21 gift card because I have found out they have penguin t-shirts there. nuff said.

Thats about it. I dont really want that much, but if you have to give me something cash for gas is always great. Gotta out run the vampires some how, or in this case out drive.

Hugry Hippos makes Shane hungry...

We were playing hungry hippos again game night, because it has become our favorite. I don't know how but I think Shane cheats every time, cause he wins too much. Anyway we were playing when he just stops in the middle and walks to the kitchen. Everyone just kind of froze and couldn't figure out what he was doing until he came back out with a monster sandwich with peanut butter and jelly and chips all over it. He looked at us and was like 'what Im hungry.'

The things that boy can eat really scares me. Im sure that if it has been deemed edible at all he will try to devour it at least once. The only thing I have found that he doesn't like to eat is beets. Dont ask me why. He says purple didn't work for barney and it shouldn't be on a vegetable either. One afternoon I was so bored I chased him around the house with a beet. I quit when he said that he would call Myrnin and tell him about the time I 'borrowed' his bunny slippers to show Michael what to buy me for Christmas. Let's face it, Myrnin still creeps me out but I love those slippers. Its the only thing in his wardrobe/ that he has ever done right. I think Im even more scared of his fashion sense than I am of him, and thats saying something coming from me.

Anyway just a short post for tonight. Gonna read some more of the weird series about us. I wish the books would come out faster. Btw does anyone know if its true that there are only gonna be 12 books? What does that mean? That we all disappear? I would say I will wait and read the books to find out, but normally she writes about stuff thats already happened. Oh well.

I have discovered a few things today. Never give me a computer when I have had nyquil because I am crazy bonkers and watch random videos that I really have no need to watch. Except Im loony and have the time. So on that note:

Anyway from this video I have discovered a few things. #1 I really really really want to take a train ride to London, but the problem with that is I should be in Europe first before I can even think about London.
#2 I love the way she dresses, the tights are adorable and since I have started buying skirts again I will be falling in love with more tights. You don't need to see my pastie white legs anyway. #3 the first few seconds with the girl and the red cups makes me think of the red solo cup song. That song is just weird. #4 Tattoo's are pretty and I want more. I have one, and I have always wanted more but if I get anything else it has to mean something to me like my first one did. That way Im not just putting random things on my body, but things that are reminders to myself. #5 I really want her hair. I love that color and if I didn't think I would look very pale with it I would do it. Also if I wouldn't get fired from my job since I don't know if purple hair is allowed. Note to self ask Oliver. #6 Nose ring. Still want one. Nobody will ever get me to say that I dont want one. That doesn't mean that I will ever get one, it just means that I like them. #7 Drinking on a train is fun. Nuff said. #8 I <3 Jordan #9 I have no idea what the ace of space means or if thats even what they are saying. If you know, TELL ME #10 I want there to be a water slide in the olympics #11 Hes the only drummer in the band...#12 If you are actually watching the thing while reading this you will realize that I have written it in order. Enough with my crazy nyquil induced ramboling. Which by they way in case your wondering yes I do have a cold. I get them a lot actually and I do go I tyrades like this when I take medicine for it. Also this whole time in my head while typing this I have been speaking with a british accent.

I have discovered I have a serious problem...


I read way way too much. Yes most of you are probably thinking 'you can never read too much.' Sadly I have discover that you can when you start collecting the books that you read as sort of trophies to show off you accomplishments and discover that you have two humungous (yes I made up a word) book shelves double stacked full along with your dresser tops covered with books. I do indeed have a problem.

But I thought, hey why not share my problem with everyone else? So here I am, telling you about five books I have read this week and giving you the overview so you can see if you would like to read them or not. If enough people like this I may do it again. Also if I have read like #3 in a series, I'll put down #1 instead so you not jumping into the middle of it without knowing whats going on.

Movies I think people should watch...

New Underworld...havent seen it don't read. Spoilers...

So we all knew they were going to go there with the whole you have a kid thing. Personally I thought it was going to happen in the second movie when I thought her boy toy was dead, but nope they saved it so they could keep the Underworld train going.

Don't get me wrong, I actually liked it even though it was slightly predictable. Its taking place in the near future where, since Alexander Corvinus died in the second movie, the human world now knows about vampires and lycans. The human populace starts an epidemic called the cleansing where they find out which people are lycans or vampires and destroy them. Selene and Michael try to escape from America to another place where they will not be persecuted as vampire and whatever the hell Michael is. Sadly they don't make it, and it is thought at least by me through the whole movie that Michael is dead. I was like 'really? Kill off the hottie and lose half your fan base.' But it turned out alright in the end cause he was alive. Anyway back to the story. Selene gets captured and frozen and when she wakes up not only does she think Michael is dead but she finds out that she has a daughter. The daughter is ultra special and the bad guys who happen to be lycans (knew I hated werewolves for a reason) want to use her to become immune to silver. The only problem is that they are going to kill her for that. So Selene goes in to save the day and her, her daughter, another vampire, and a human save the day and kick lots of ass.


Good movie overall. Love the series. I vote that people should see them.

But this movie does bring up the question of what would happen if the outside world found out about vampires? Would they be able to band together and destroy them like they did in this movie, or would they all be enslaved like we are here in Morganville? I don't really want to think about unsuspecting people finding out their nightmares are real and that they have no real way of dealing with it. Yeah sure we have bigger numbers than the vampires but lets face it, lots of people would die before we took them all out. Most people when facing them or a loved one dying would rather just put up with the vampires than risk freedom for everyone else. Besides that, if they did take out the vampires they would take them all out. Including Michael. I doubt they would believe 'don't worry hes a good vampire. He doesn't bite much.' No they would probably stake him on site. So I guess my thought is that no, I hope the outside world never finds out about Morganville. Us locals can handle it just fine. We haven't all gotten ourselves killed so far, and I doubt we plan to anytime soon.

Picture at top: Anyway first things first I should say that no the picture at the top is not me (though I wish it was cause come on shes gorgeous). It is what I think Eve would look like (with less white face makeup on cause lets face it Eve probably wears a lot and we love her for it.) I also have a facebook with her as my Eve. If I actually dyed my hair black, yeah sure I would put my picture up as Eve but my hair is red with blond in the front and in the books it is clearly stated that Eve has black hair. Sad. So for now unless I decided to dye my hair black she is going to be my Eve.



Point of this blog: I have a bad feeling that someday someone might post and ask what the point of this blog is so Im just going to lay it out there right now. And yes I know that was a run on sentence.
I decided to make a blog in the view of one of my favorite book characters since our personality's are very similar and I thought that it would go good with some rping sites that I do. Some of the posts are going to be kind of like a day in the life of Morganville but a lot are just going to be about every day things and how I think Eve would handle and react to them. Most of you are probably like 'do you not have anything better to do'. Well I could be working more but I think that three jobs was enough to last me a life time thanks, I read a lot anyway in between, and I play video games. So to answer you question no I don't have anything better to do. Sure I hang out with friends. But I think that everyone makes a blog at one point or another and this is mine. eventually I may get bored of it but for now I will keep posting.


If you hate this blog: Thats great. You can leave constructive criticism in a comment or e-mail but if I really think your just being rude or hateful I'll just delete your post. Nothing personal against you, but this site is to have fun. If you really hate it to the point were your cussing me out in every other post then dont read it. I wont mind really.


One last thing before I go: You don't have to read the Morganville Vampires book series to follow my blog. Though it would be really great if you did, but as I said I will also post topics about everyday things and you can read those, but if there is a very obvious Morganville post and you have no idea whats going on in any of the subject matter, please don't post. You want to post something about vampires that you think will help? That cool. You want to post something about one thing that I said that you know absolutely everything on? Thats fine too. What Im talking about is dont post something like "that could never happen in blah blah blah book its like this" well were not talking about blah blah blah book now are we. Stuff that happens in this book series 'happens'. I don't just randomly say 'and then werewolves show up.' No I get something to talk about from what happens in the books or from Rachel Caine's website.
